With Employee Assistance Consulting (EAC) you have a proven and trustworthy resource to help you and your team through difficult times. EAC offers a comprehensive menu of free services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our trained consultants can provide professional, confidential, and individual consultation and referrals to you and your household family members for personal and work-related issues. EAC consultants also provide management consultations on a variety of team member behavioral health situations. All team members are eligible for assistance. There is no cost to you for telephonic consultation (see details below).

Contact with EAC for individual assistance concerning personal or work-related problems is strictly confidential and voluntary. Participation in any individual EAC services is not communicated to your manager or anyone else without your expressed permission. All EAC records are kept completely separate from official personnel files.
Exceptions to confidentiality are made only when you give EAC explicit permission to release your records to an identified person or when required by law, such as:

If you require assistance in identifying a counselor in your area, EAC consultants can assist you in locating a provider. If you are enrolled in a Wells Fargo–sponsored medical plan, you can also use the Provider Directory Service at your own convenience. If another resource is needed, the EAC consultant will consider your financial situation, medical plan coverage, and available community resources when making referrals and recommendations. Costs associated with certain referrals (such as copays) are the responsibility of the team member.
Note: Mental health and substance abuse benefits are provided and managed by your medical plan. If you are enrolled in a Wells Fargo medical plan, please refer to the Health and Well-Being website on Teamworks or the Benefits Book for additional information.
Through its online Resource Center, EAC provides articles and tip sheets on a wide range of concerns that frequently come up among team members and their managers. Visit the Resource Center for articles and links on topics such as depression, relationships, parenting, elder care, debt management, domestic violence, and many other personal and work-related issues.
