Internal Technology Training
Technology embraces a wide range of skills and expertise – and it’s an essential part of how we do business. Wells Fargo offers resources to help team members expand their technical skills.

General Technical Training Resources. Find web-based and classroom training, job aids and knowledge-management tools online. Some resources are free while others have a nominal fee for non-WFSC team members. Find resources for Microsoft Office and Desktop Productivity or Intermediate & Advanced Technical Skills Development

Learning About the Web. An interactive online course, Journey into the Web, that will help you learn about the Intranet, extranet, browsers, navigation, URLs, hyperlinks, search engines, book-marking/favorites and/or printing web pages.

Internal Leadership/Management Development
Wells Fargo has designed three Leadership Seminars specifically for leaders and potential leaders. Wells Fargo also offers Management Development Programs that support the development of competencies to achieve success in leadership management roles. HR Products/Process Training for Managers. These web conferences provide training in current HR processes – everything from payroll to background screening.

Virtual Leadership. This online course addresses the unique needs of managers and leaders responsible for one or more remote teams. Its flexible learning environment offers tips and techniques to help you build and focus your team quickly and efficiently.

Preventing Sexual Harassment. This course addresses how to identify behavior that might be considered sexual harassment, explains the legal and other consequences of sexual harassment, describes roles and responsibilities in creating a workplace fee of sexual harassment, discusses what actions to take against sexual harassment, and describes Wells Fargo’s policies and procedures regarding sexual harassment. Internal Professional Development
Professional development options vary widely across Wells Fargo because of the diversity of businesses and jobs. To see what Professional Development options are available for you, contact your Learning & Development group or visit their web site (use list of contacts below, under Learning & Development Groups by Business/Geography).

CDgems (Consumer Deposits Group Education for Managers Series). These courses help managers within and outside of CDG to develop and enhance their skills. Instructors from the Harvard Business School, Northwestern University, Stanford and UCLA teach the courses. Learn more about the classes.

Wells Fargo Online Orientation. The Wells Fargo Online Team Member Orientation covers topics such as Wells Fargo’s history, its ten strategic initiatives, lines of business, benefits, business conduct, career and development and the Vision & Values. The course takes two to three hours to complete and is best taken one module at a time (each module takes 30 minutes). Begin the course

Working to Create and Inclusive Environment. This one-day course discusses the importance of diversity to Wells Fargo’s present and future success. The course uses case studies, and discussions to help team members learn about specific behaviors that will help them create an inclusive environment for all Wells Fargo team members. This course is offered through Shared Services

Learning & Development Groups by Business/Geography
Many businesses offer learning opportunities exclusively for their own team members. Others offer opportunities to team members outside of their business where there are shared service arrangements or established fees. Please contact your business’ training coordinator to find out what opportunities are available to you for learning outside your business.
