Password Resets

- Password resets for Wachovia team members
If you forget your password, you can request a temporary password that will allow you to sign on and update your permanent password. On the Job Search Home page, in the sign-on box, click the Email and Password Help link.
- In the "Request Temporary Password" section, enter the email address you used when you registered and click the Temporary Password button.
You will receive a system-generated temporary password via email, which you can use to sign on to your job seeker account and update your permanent password. It expires 48 hours after your request. (If it expires before you can sign on, simply repeat the steps to request another temporary password.)

Browser and System Help
Internet Service Provider
Wells Fargo recommends that you use high-speed Internet, cable, DSL, or other another broadband service to access and use Jobs. Although you can use Jobs with a dial-up account, you may encounter technical difficulties, including system timeouts.

Operating systems and supported browsers
Operating systems that support Find a Job include:
- Windows 98 or higher
- MAC OS9X or higher
Most standard browsers work with Find a Job, including:
- Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher
- Netscape Navigator 7.0 or higher
- Firefox

Privacy settings (cookies)
The following settings enable the Jobs site to work correctly. The sample screens below are shown in Internet Explorer 6.05. If you are using a different browser, look for similar instructions.
From the Internet Explorer browser toolbar:
- Select Tools.
- Select Internet Options.
- In the Internet Options window, select the Privacy tab.

- Select the Advanced button.
- In the Advanced Settings window, select Override automatic cookie handling, the Accept radio buttons under First-party Cookies and Third-party Cookies, and Always allows session cookies. Then click the OK button.

Pop-up blockers
Pop-up blockers may prevent you from opening windows in the Jobs tool. Wells Fargo suggests that you disable pop-up blockers when you access Jobs.

System timeouts and screen freezes
The system has a timeout for your security, so it's a good idea to gather paperwork — resumes, work records, certificates and licenses, etc. — before you start work on your profile or application.
To prevent a loss of data, save your work by clicking Continue or Save as Draft at least once every 20 minutes.

System Availability
The Jobs tool is available anytime except during daily site maintenance, which occurs from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. Central Time.
On the date that a job posting expires, it is removed at midnight Central Time.

Security concerns
Since your information is password-protected, you can safely sign on to and use Jobs, even on a public computer. Be sure to sign off when you are done.
