Solutions to our most commonly reported technical problem
Browser Requirements
You should use Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. Some
tools may also work with Netscape 6.0 or higher, but these pages were
not designed for display in Netscape and text, colors and fonts may not
display properly in a Netscape browser.
If you need to download a new browser, please visit the Microsoft web
site (www.microsoft.com) for assistance
and download instructions. If you have dial up with Internet connection
that is slower than 28.8, you will need to order a CD via the Microsoft
web site.
If you are unable to download a new browser due to security
or language settings and receive the error message "The downloaded file is not available,” this
could be due to your Security or Language settings. You will need to change
a setting in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 (Windows) by following these steps:
- Select Tools.
- Select Internet Options.
- In the Internet Options window, click on the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down to the Security section.
- Make sure there is no check mark in the box for Do not save encrypted
pages to disk.
- Click Apply, then click OK.
For Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 (Windows) follow these steps:
- Select Tools.
- Select Internet Options.
- In the Internet Options window, click on the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down to the Security section.
- Make sure there is no check mark in the box: Do not save encrypted
pages to disk.
- Make sure there are check marks in the following boxes
- Enable Profile Assistance
- Use SSL 2.0
- Use SSL 3.0
- Use TLS 1.0
- Click Apply, and then click OK.
Hardware
For online access, we suggest you follow these
recommended standards:
- Operating System:
- Windows 95, 98, Windows NT (4.0 or better) or
Windows 2000
- MacIntosh 8X or higher
- CPU: Minimum Pentium 150MHz, 200 MHz or better
recommended.
- Encryption: 128 bits
- Memory: 64 MB.
While a PC with less than the recommended standards might be able to
access Teamworks at home, it is expected that performance will be degraded
and that some fields may not be positioned correctly on their pages.
